June Update — Ben Case Racing

It has been fairly quiet on the runners front during June with only a handful of runners. Kings Temptation was running another great race at Huntingdon at the end of May when unfortunately coming down two from home, luckily he was none the worse and ran well at Uttoxeter on the 14th June to finish 3rd. He is now enjoying a summer break. Oksana also ran with credit to finish 3rd at Southwell and she will be out again very soon.

It has been a busy time at the sales with three more new recuits. Ratfacemcdougall was purchased at the Cheltenham May sale having had 3 starts in point-to-points in Ireland winning and finishing 2nd on the other occassions. He seems to be very staightforward and is currently having a summer break. Two more 3 year olds were purchased at the Goffs Land Rover sale; Felton Bellevue by Kap Rock out of Sister du Berlais and a Dylan Thomas out of Water Rock, both are being broken-in and are coming along nicely.

The new flat 5 furlong round gallop with Andrews Bowen safetrack surface is now completed and is a fantastic addition to our facilities at Edgcote. The horses seem to be enjoying it so far and it will be a huge asset to us in the coming months.
