May Update — Ben Case Racing

We have made a good start to the new season with Kings Temptation winning well at Huntingdon under Sam Twiston-Davies for owner Lady Jane Grosvenor. He has come out of his race well and will head back to Huntingdon on Monday.

Monar Rose ran well on only her second start over fences to finish 2nd at Kempton under Kielan Woods. She has an entry at Market Rasen on Friday 1st June.

Two runners head to Uttoxeter tomorrow with Dakkar Collonges and Cup of Gold.

We had a busy week at Goffs UK sale at Doncaster where we purchased 3 lovely new recruits. Two 3 year-olds one by Westerner and one by Great Pretender who will now be broken-in. The Westerner out of Quel Bleu is a lovely individual and is looking for an owner! The third horse purchased is a 5 year old mare called Presenting Rio and she has been purchased by the Wardington Hopefuls Partnership (there is a share still remaining) she will have a short break before running over hurdles in the autumn.

The Grafton Hunt held their point-to-point at Edgcote last Sunday which was a great success with a huge crowd on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. We sponsored the Pony Racing which was very competitive and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The new Andrews Bowen all-weather gallop is making great progress with the surface now going down. This will be a fantastic addition to our facilities and we look forward to using it in the very near future.
