First Drift wins at Doncaster

First Drift made a promising start to his hurdles career when winning the Planet Platforms Ltd. Novices' Hurdle at Doncaster.  He was given a great front running ride by Max Kendrick to win impressively.  He has come out of his race well and should make up into a promising chaser for next season.

Sharp Getaway also ran at Doncaster making his racecourse debut in the bumper, he ran a very promising race to finish 6th and will have learnt a lot from the experience.

All four mares ran well on Friday with Zara's Reflection, Megaboost and Coded Message running at Warwick.  Megaboost was making her debut for us and ran well in the bumper, she will appreciate hurdles and a longer trip. Coded Message ran well to finish 4th also in the bumper, she has improved with each run and is an exciting mare for the future, being a half-sister to Midnight Jazz.

Monar Rose finished 4th at Exeter in the Mares qualifier, she ran very well on unsuitable ground and is now qualified for the mares final at Haydock at the end of March.

Themanfrom Minella ran a very creditable race in the Eider Chase at Newcastle on Saturday, the drying ground was not in his favour and he was unfortunate to be brought to a standstill when another horse fell in front of him.  He has come out of the race in fine form and has an entry in the Midlands National.

We took four horses to gallop at Wolverhampton yesterday, Princess Roxy, Graceful Legend, Shanroe Saint and Shanty Alley - they all worked well.
