Somerset National Winner

Themanfrom Minella put up a fantastic round of jumping to win the Somerset National at Wincanton yesterday. He was given a superb front running ride by Max Kendrick to land a first national for his owner Carolyn Kendrick and our team.  This was following up his win at Warwick on New Years Eve.  The application of blinkers has clearly worked and long may it continue.

Shanroe Saint put up another good performance to finish 3rd at Leicester under Daryl Jacob for The Polk Partnership.  Phare Isle gave Charlie Case a great first ride under rules in the Amateur hurdle race at Ludlow to finish 5th.  First Drift ran really well at Doncaster to finish 4th after a layoff and will certainly come on for the run and remains a horse with great potential and Midnight Jazz ran her usual gutsy race to finish 2nd in the Mares Listed hurdle at Sandown under Kielan Woods.

Declarations for the weekend include Graceful Legend who runs at Ascot on Saturday and Mazurati goes to Fontwell on Sunday.  Lets hope the good run of form continues!
